Hello everyone,
This is our school project for the English subject, where we were tasked with creating a short movie. Our team’s project is titled “Try Harder.”
The story follows a character named White Mamba, who is underestimated and mocked by three basketball players. When he tries to join their game, he gets rejected and is challenged to a one-on-one match—but loses to the strongest player. Feeling discouraged, he breaks down in tears. At his lowest point, a new character named Novalino appears and encourages him not to give up.
Inspired by those words, White Mamba starts training in secret whenever the basketball court is empty. After days of practice, the three players return, and White Mamba faces them one by one. He defeats the first and second, and finally overcomes the strongest player who had once humiliated him.
The short movie ends with a behind-the-scenes segment showing how we created the video, adding a fun and personal touch to our project.
This project allowed us to explore storytelling, filming, and editing while sharing a message about perseverance and self-belief. 🏀🎬💪
